St Vincents 5-13, Shamrocks 2-9
Shamrocks under 12’s made the trip to Knocknaheeny on Friday night and after a good display from our lads, had to give way to an older home side.
Shamrocks played some excellent football in the 1st half and deservedly led by 2 points at halftime. The homeside gradually got on top however in the second half – the Shamrocks lads made some slips ups in front of goal and they got tired naturally.
However, they are making great progress and the future looks bright for them. Our thanks to Aidan O’Leary and Dick Andrews who looked after the team on the night and to the parents who supported the lads and provided transport.
