Last Saturday evening, at a function held in the Ferry Boat Inn, Ringaskiddy, Shamrocks made presentations to four the winners of €500 each in last weeks Lotto.
The weekly lotto takes place every Monday night at 9pm and rotates between the six pubs in the parish. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the 4 winners (pictured below) and thank all our buyers, many of whom are regulars and supporters on a weekly basis.
Of course the lotto wouldnt be able to function without our dedicated band of sellers. One seller last week, Geraldine Twomey, who puts in trojan work every weekend selling tickets, sold 3 of the 4 winners! We thank her and indeed her accomplice John Twomey (Shanbally) who run the lotto without fail every Monday night.
This vital source of club income continues each and every week and we need your support. Its only €2 a ticket and we would love to see more buyers and sellers, in particular more players. Its going well but an extra push over the summer months would do no harm at all.
