Abbey McLoughlin making a great run up the wing
The under 10 ladies started off their season in style with a great win over Douglas. A score line of 1-7 to 0-2 showed Shamrocks dominated the game scoring 1-5 in the first half with a goal from Sophie Geary and some lovely points from Abbey McLoughlin, Sophie Geary and Ciara O’Flynn. There was some lovely play from the young side throughout the match.
Ellie Murphy defended well from start to finish.
Douglas worked hard in the second half stopping great attacks from Shamrocks who only managed to score a further 2 points in the second half. Shamrocks back-line proofed to strong for Douglas and blocked every attack they made.
Great work from all the girls on a cold Saturday morning. Well done to the girls and mentors keep up the good work.
