On January 4th the death of Cormac Cahill was announced and it was received with regret and sadness by all of us who knew this gregarious and extroverted gentleman.
Cormac was a former Football Selector and represented the Club at South-East Conventons too. His brother Finbarr played Junior Hurling with Shamrocks and was a member of the 1963 side that defeated Ballinhassig in the South East Final.
Sympathy is extended to his wife Eleanor, sons and daughters, brothers and sister and many relatives and friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
