On Friday afternoon last at St. Joseph’s Church Glanmire, Michael Prout married Jackie Cussen in a very beautiful cermony presided over by Canon Micheal O’Dalaigh. This recently refurbished Church was packed with families and friends to witness the great occasion when Michael and Jackie exchanged wedding bands after just over eight years of courtship.
Michael had three Dual-Players manfully standing by him. His brother Peter, former S.E. Hurling winning Captain, was Bestman. Groomsmen were cousins Barry Mulqueen and Brian Cusack. Lovely Jackie had a very stong team too with three gorgeous Bridesmaids, Judith Daly, Jennifer White and Orla Daly. It was a balmy and warm mid summer afternoon blessed with colour, style and high spirits all round.
The magnificiently appointed Marlborough House Hotel was the idyllic setting for the reception where Michael, Jackie, their families and nearly three hundred guests relished and enjoyed the great day that it was.
