Shamrocks 5-8, Nemo Rangers (3) 2-8
An important victory for our Minor team in a game played earlier this evening at Pairc Tadgh O’h-Ainnlaoi.
Shamrocks were deserving winners having led 1 – 5 to 1 – 2 at halftime. The game featured some splendid scores from both teams. We saw some excellent goalkeeping from the two ‘keepers in this entertaining contest.
So Shamrocks go forward to round two next week and with a small improvement and more consistency in their play over the hour they can have more ‘scalps under their belt’. Shamrocks now play Carraig na bhFear on Sunday September 2nd.
