Due to a lack of committed hurelers and one or two injuries, Shamrocks have had to withdraw from the u13 hurling league. We are down to about 12 hurlers and with 9 league games on 9 Mondays in a row, it was felt that was not feasible for the team.
What the mentors have decided to do is to try and play the original teams on the same original dates in 10 a side or whatever, in a kind of a blitz format, on as many Mondays as possible. This will enable the 12 or so players who are interested to get plenty of game time in a Shamrocks jersey.
The footballers have one game nest week and also need to play Carrig na bhFear at a later date
