Shamrocks U8’s held another football blitz in Shanbally on Sunday 2nd October. Passage and Whitescross were the opponents on a wet and muggy morning.
Shamrocks had eighteen players available and Passage had the same while Whitescross had twelve. It was decided to make up a fourth team ,six from Shamrocks and six from Passage so all players had equal game time. Everything ran smoothly on the day to make this Blitz a success.
A big thank you to all the players and to their parents again for making sandwiches and helping out in the kitchen.
