Diarmuid Ó Murchús 4-11, Raonaithe na nGael 2-14
This was a cracking game of hurling played in Whitescross on Easter Monday evening. Raonaithe na nGael were quick off the mark and scored 1-3 before Ó Murchus even attacked. Ó Murchú’s registered 2 goals themselves before Raonaithe na nGael pushed on before halftime impressively, and they led 2-12 to 2-3 and looked likely winners.
One or two positional switches seemed to work for Ó Murchús in the second half. After plenty of early possession resulted in no scores, a goal 15 minutes from the end seemed ignite their comeback. They were in top in all sectors now and finished with all the momentum, scoring 2-3 to 0-0 in that time to seal the 1 goal win. Well done to all the players and parents for travelling out on Easter Monday.
