Grenagh 2-5, Shamrocks 1-2
We travelled to Grenagh with a very young team last Monday evening. Despite that, we were well in control of the game up to the last 10 minutes.
Unfortunately, we conceded 2 goals and 1 point in that time resulting in a narrow defeat.
We are short of numbers in hurling at this age group which is disappointing. Nevertheless, we’ll persevere with the lads that turn up and hopefully we’ll improve in time.
We are overdue a win and if we continue to perform as we did here, then we’re not far away from that.
Special thanks to Cian Lynch & Barry O’Mahony who made the journey at short notice; which meant we were able to fulfill the fixture.
