Shamrocks played Ballinora on Monday evening in Ballinora in their latest challenge game. Ballinora finished top of B1 in the East division and proved too good for Shamrocks on the night. Shamrocks had a very young team out due to clashes with other codes etc, featuring only two u12 players and six u10 players. Still though, the selectors were happy enough with the lads performance – much work still remains to be done, especially the practising at home part and first touch, but their blocking down for example was excellent on the night.
