U10 Hurling Blitz – 22/8

Shamrocks u10s travelled to Trabeg this morning as Nemo Rangers hosted this latest instalment. We travelled with 17 players and entered 2 teams as a result.

This weakened us somewhat but it was an opportunity of exposing the younger lads to a higher standard of hurling that they had not previously encountered.

Results are not important at this level as the emphasis is on basic skills. We have a bit to do but we have the players to do it. We will have to go back to weekly training to improve our skills.

We played St. Finbarr’s, Nemo Rangers, Cloughduv, Whitechurch, Sliabh Rua and Valley Rovers.

Thank you too all the players for an excellent turnout and to the grandparents, parents, siblings and friends for their support.

Message to the players – Keep practicing at home!!
