U14 Hurling Tournament V Crosshaven – 5/10

Crosshaven 10-9, Shamrocks 5-4

Shamrocks played their 3rd game of the Passage tournament on a wet Sunday evening and it was a performance to forget. Last week Shamrocks played some good hurling against Ballinhassig but this week it was the total opposite. Their first touch was non existant and Crosshaven, in particular in the second half just did as they pleased and simply waltzed through the Shamrocks team. It was hard to fathom how the lads cant show any consistency from week to week on the hurling field. Shane Downey and James Lynam were the only Shamrocks players to score on a miserable afternoon all round. Shamrocks play Tracton next week in their final game, details to follow. Training for anybody not involved in other activities on Tuesday at 6pm.
