Shamrocks took part in the final u8 blitz of the year in Ballinhassig on Saturday morning. They had 12 players togged out on the day and all players aquitted themselves well over the course of the three games, of which Shamrocks won one, lost one and drew one! Managers Shane O’Donovan and Semaus O’Flynn, who have driven this age group all year and provided more game time for the players than we could have wished for, were happy with the attitude shown by everybody.
Our thanks to the two lads above, the players and the parents who have supported the blitzes all year long. Also to Martin Coleman GDA we thanks him for running these important blitzes which have definately benefitted the Shamrocks players throughout the year.
