Ó Murchús 1-18, Nemo Rangers 0-19
This was a good win for the Minor Hurlers of Ó Murchús in Nemo on a cold April Wednesday night in Trabeg. It was a very exciting game of hurling with the teams being level 5 times throughout the game.
Nemo led by 0-13 to 0-9 at HT and were looking good at that point. Eight minutes into the second half, Nemo were still ahead by 0-16 to 0-12; Sam Foy struck for a goal for Ó Murchús to give them hope and bring them within a point. They then followed that up with another point to level the game. The next 5 minutes saw both teams add on 2 point each as the finish approached but Ó Murchús went 1-17 to 0-18 ahead and held on for the win in the end.
