The Academy for 2020 finished on Saturday morning. It has been a different kind of year but our decision to go back outdoors in September has been justified. The club would just like to say a big thank you to all who helped in any way throughout the year, be it the players and wonderful parents who support us, to the dedicated coaches many of whom are both new to the club and who are there week in week out, to Deirdre and her daughters Becca and Hannah who run the kitchen, to John Jordan, to Pa our coaching officer and anyone else who I may have left out - míle buíochas. We will return in February, the exact date will depend on the National situation with Covid etc and but rest assured we will see the young 4 - 10 years olds out on our playing pitches in the early part of 2021. In the meantime, enjoy the break, the Christmas festivities, let's hope Santa delivers and above all else - stay safe.
