Shamrocks U10 hurlers finished the first half of their season this morning in Ballinhassig. Having won their last football game earlier in the week the lads were determined to finish the hurling the same way. And that they did. They played great hurling from start to finish and the work rate from all the players was never in question. Shamrocks ran out convincing winners again on a scoreline of 5-8 to 1-1. They finish the first half of their season season with only 1 loss. Brilliant stuff from all the players and management

A great win for Diarmuid Ó Murchu hurlers tonight in Mayfield. A great first half, with a halftime score line of Mayfield 3-03, DÓM 1-09. The backs got on top and scored 11 points in the second half. Barry O'Mahony gave an exhibition of long range frees and 65s, scoring 0-07 in all. Donal Herlihy played superbly too, scoring 0-08. Shane O'Flynn had a great game at midfield and scored 0-02 as well. A great outing for Billy Hanna and James Keane, both playing their first minor hurling game with the Ó Murchus. With some excellent puck-outs from David Herlihy, it ensured a well-earned 5 point win. ![]()
