This game was played in the pouring rain on Friday night and resulted in a Ballygarvan win. Ballygarvan were a much bigger team physically and used this advantage. Their full forward line was able to grab the goals while at the other end, Shamrocks struggled for scores. Credit to Shamrocks who battled manfully throughout.
