Shamrocks held a very successful Puc Fada on Sunday in Ringaskiddy/Shanbally. There was a very satisfactory turnout and it was pleasing to see the underage players make up a large proportion of the competitors, along with a nice sprinking of the girls football and ladies club members.
Colin O’Sullivan was the overall winner with a fantastic 20 shot over the parcours, followed by Stephen Jordan with 21 shots.
Other winners included Emer O’Neill (Ladies), Joseph O’Keeffe (U16’s), Cathal Browne (Minors), Dick Andrews (over 40’s) and Declan O’Neill (over 50s)
Afterwards, club Secretary Dave O’Flaherty and Club Chairman Pat McCarthy thanked everyone who took part, some who came home from Australia just for it.
