Grenagh 5-5, Shamrocks 0-0
Shamrocks U12 hurlers were well beaten by a strong Grenagh side on Monday evening.
Their cause wasn’t helped by the loss of Harry Andrews with a hand injury after only 10 minutes and were always chasing the game as a result of this. However they plugged away and were down by 1-3 to no score at half time.
Shamrocks were outplayed for the remainder of the second half failing to put a single score on the board. Best on the night were Seán Andrews and Adam McSweeney. We wish Harry a speedy recovery and hope he is back for the John Kerins Memorial tournament in Pairc Ui Rinn on Saturday at 12pm.
Panel – Seán Andrews, Conor Hourihan (in goal), Robert van Pelt, Harry Andrews, Mark Sisk, Adam Maye, Adam McSweeney, Cian O’Flaherty, Derry Howard, Fionn Herlihy, Robert Barrett, Eoin O’Flynn and Michael Foy.
