The Adult Club AGM took place on Monday evening, attended by a large audience, in particular players.
Much debate took place about the current state of affairs of our club, be it training, players commitment, Junior A and B, etc etc.
The 3 outgoing officers of Chairperson Pat McCarthy, Secretary Dave O’Flaherty and Treasurer John Twomey (Shanbally) presented their excellent yearly reports.
Club President Michael Brennan presided over the election of officers for 2014. All the outgoing officers were elected unopposed with no one standing against them.
The selection of Junior managers in both hurling and football was left off until the next Executive meeting.
After much debate and discussion about what the club are doing going forward, Chairperson Pat McCarthy closed the meeting.
