Shamrocks under 8′s played Whites Cross footballers in Shanbally on Wednesday the 6th July. The match eventually went ahead after a
torrential downpour and thankfully stayed dry for the duration. We fielded a team of fifteen players on the night, each player getting plenty of time on the pitch to show their talent to the large following of parents and supporters who were entertained from start to finish. If these lads are to progress we need the parents to get involved and help out.
Players on duty were Harry Andrews, Cian O Flaherty, Fionn Mehigan, Declan Carroll, Robert Van Pelt, Shane Donnegana, Michael Foy, Callum Power, Adam Maye, Nathan O Sullivan, Adam McSweeney, Fionn Herlihy, Sam Creamer, Mark Sisk and Adam Maginty.
