Dripsey 5-6, Shamrocks 5-8
We travelled to Dripsey for our third game of the campaign and got off to a poor start with Dripsey scoring two goalsin the first few minutes but to give credit to the lads they battled hard and got a goal and a point to keep them in touch with Dripsey.T hough we were playing with the advantage of a strong wind we were trailing Dripsey all through the first half buton the stroke of half time we got a goal to draw level on a score of 4-02 to 3-05.
Shamrocks made one substitution at the break to bring on Daniel Carroll and he made a hugh difference linking up with Christopher Hayes down the wing so much that dripsey had no reply to them. Shamrocks took the lead scoring three points before Dripsey got on the score sheet. It was end to end action at this point and Daniel Carroll got two cracking goals but Dripsey came back with a goal and two points with only a few minutes left, our keeper made some great saves to keep us in the lead and run out winners on a score line of 5-06 to 5-08.
