THE ACADEMY 2012/2013

 

11.30am to 12.45pm each Saturday.

 

 

The Academy finishes for the summer holidays on Saturday June 22nd, 2013.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Academy Membership

 

• €50 Full Family Membership (including Parents, Grandparents, Guardians etc)
• €20 Individual Membership
• €10 Per extra family child, male or female

Family Membership includes all other playing children up to 18 years of age within the club and the Ladies Football for the 2013 season.

 

Playing Gear

• Hurleys Size 26, 28 & 30 – €10
• Hurleys size 30 & 32 – €15
• Club Helmets – €40 (reduced price)
• White Shorts & Green Socks – €15 and €20, depending on Size.

 

 

The fee is €20 per child and €10 for each additional child. Alternatively its €50 for family membership. Hurleys and helmets are available at lower rates through membership of the Academy, in the case of helmets up to 50% cheaper than in the shops. We would encourage parents to make sure that all participants come to each session with football boots, shin guards, a hurley and a helmet. We ask each participant to bring €2 each sessionj to cover Insurance costs.

 

We are especially interested in getting parents more actively involved this year in the coaching side of things.

 

 

Below find the rota for the coaches. We’re asking each coach to check when they’re on (nobody is one more than twice) and if you can forsee a problem with your time and date, please arrange a swop with someone else in the meantime and ONLY THEN tell either Patrick Andrews or John Twomey, the Academy coordinators. The lads have done their best to avoid clashes with work and other factors but inevitably there will be some. Apologies for that.

 

 

 

As you can see, the initial responce from the Junior players has been excellent so lets hope that the chopping and changing can be kept to a minimun and we can deliver top class coaching to the future Shamrocks stars.
