The under 10 hurling league resumed this Saturday when we welcomed Crosshaven to Shanbally to play an early morning fixture.
Unfortunately the result didn’t go our way as our young lads went down to a strong visiting side. At times we looked very good and put together some great passages of play, but our opponents had more great passages of play than we did and therefore had the better outcome. In fairness on the day Crosshaven deserved the win.
We will learn from this game as we have done from others over the season and come back the next day stronger. The most important thing is that we have a great bunch of young lads who are happy to get up early on a Saturday morning put on the Shamrock’s Jersey and always give it their best. Thank you John Jordan for taking on the referee duties for the morning.
