Our U8s took to the field for the second time this season when they participated in a Football Blitz at St. Vincent’s club last Saturday.
We had 13 players togged out and all got plenty of playing time. We played Delaneys, Grenagh & Whites Cross.
Our lads were excellent and had scores been kept, it would have produced comprehensive wins for us in all 3 games.
Our underage Chairman, John Twomey, honoured us with his presence and indeed filled the role of our “young referee” with some style!
Parents, grandparents,siblings and friends turned up in great numbers and provided wonderful support to the young lads.
Hopefully, we will have a Hurling Blitz on 25th June and texts will be sent next week with update.
