Our first morning out took us to St. Vincents complex in the northside of the city. The inclement weather did not put off our enthusiastic young lads who gave a great exhibition of football.Due to holidays and other engagements, we had less numbers than usual but I’m sure that all those missing this week will return for future blitzes.
We played Brian Dillons, Nemo Rangers & Whitechurch. Our thanks to St Vincents for hosting the event. I also wish to thank the parents and siblings for turning out in atrocious conditions to support the lads.
A number of the younger players were togging out for Shamrocks for the first time and on first viewing, the future looks bright!!
This was the first of many blitzes over the coming months and I would encourage parents etc. to bring their child along to see first hand the fun to be had.
