Noah Sisk wins Shamrocks Lotto

The Shamrock Hurling & Football Club’s Lotto Jackpot was won last week by one of Ringaskiddy’s youngest citizens. Two year old Noah Sisk scooped the big prize.
The winner’s cheque was presented to Noah and his parents at the FBI Bar, where the lucky ticket was purchased.

Noah comes with a huge Hurling pedigree and many of his ancestors were leaders in the GAA.
His paternal Grandfather Raymond Sisk, was one of Shamrock’s most talented hurlers. He played Junior, Intermediate and Senior Hurling with Cork and lined out with Christy Ring.
His maternal Grandfather was Martin Kidney who collected two Harty Cup medals playing hurling with The North Mon. One of his team colleagues in those days 1934|35 was the one and only Jack Lynch.

His paternal great Grandfather Paddy Sisk had a truly outstanding and distinguished career in the GAA. He played with Shamrocks and was a Club Secretary. He was one of the founding fathers of the South-East Board and was elected Hon. Secretary in 1935 and held the post for 34 years.
He was Chairman of the Cork County School Shields Board for 12 years. He was a Cork Hurling Selector and numerous occasions. Between MInor, Junior and Intermediate he was involved with eight All Ireland Winning teams.
Of course his paternal Grandmother Mrs. Shiela Sisk represented Shamrocks as a solo singer in Scor competitions on many occasions and won County Titles.
If he was a horseAidan O’Brien and Willie Mullins would be paying him a call.

Present for the ceremony were Noah’s parents Padraic and Lisa, his brother Aaron, his Grandmother Shiela Sisk. The presentation was made by Mrs. Geraldine Twomey, representing the Club’s Lotto Committee and Chris Davis represented the FBI Bar
